Insurance & Financing Options
Financial Information
We are in-network PPO providers with many dental benefit plans. Seeing an in-network periodontist will likely result in very significant savings for you compared to going out of network. Staying in-network means that you will usually have better insurance benefits as well as take advantage of reduced contracted fees.
In-Network Insurance Plans

We Accept Most Dental and Medical Insurance
This means that while our practice isn’t officially part of your insurance company’s “preferred provider network”, We are still willing to accept your insurance and will help you navigate the process of filing a claim to receive the maximum benefits possible from your insurance company, even going as far as submitting the bill on your behalf to get reimbursed directly from your insurer. Please get in touch with our office to learn more about all the different options available.
Payment Information
At your examination and consultation appointment, we will in most cases, be able to provide you with an estimate of fees for the treatment that our doctors recommended for you in our office. This estimate is based on what your insurance company tells us about your dental benefits and may change depending on what payment we actually receive from your insurance once treatment is completed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Care Credit is also available if financing your treatment would be helpful.

Benefit Matching
At our dental office, we understand that navigating the costs of periodontal treatment can be challenging, especially when it comes to insurance coverage. Here’s how we make it easier for you:
Understanding Your Coverage: Dental insurance often covers general procedures differently than specialty care. While your insurance may not fully cover periodontal treatments, the good news is that you can still benefit from significant savings. If you’re seeing us as an in-network patient, you’ll automatically receive contracted rates that are about 30% lower than standard fees. This means that even if your insurance doesn’t pay for the treatment, you still get the benefit of these reduced rates.
For Out-of-Network Patients: We know that out-of-network coverage can be more complex. To help, we offer creative solutions. We can match all, or a portion, of your dental insurance benefit maximum—a yearly cap on what your insurance will cover—as an in-office discount for your surgical treatments.
How It Works:
Discounts on Surgical Treatments: If you need surgical intervention, we can apply your maximum benefit as a discount on your treatment. This discount can range from $500 to $2,000, depending on your plan, and helps reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Preserving Your Benefits: By offering this discount, we don’t submit a claim to your insurance, so your annual benefit maximum remains intact. This means you can still use your insurance for other treatments, like implant crowns or additional cleanings with your general dentist.
Affordable Treatment: Our discount brings your costs closer to the 30% savings you’d receive with in-network rates, making high-quality care more accessible.
In Summary: Don’t let insurance limitations hold you back from receiving the periodontal care you need. Whether you’re in-network or out-of-network, we’re here to ensure you get the treatment you need at a price that works for you. If you have any questions or need help understanding your options, please reach out to our team—we’re here to assist you every step of the way.
